GPS + BT + FM_TX/RX combo module

GNS GmbH presents its latest GPS Combo module, the TC6000.

The latest generation has four integrated wireless functions: GPS, BT, and optionally TMC/FM reception or FM transmission.

With dimensions of just 10mm x 9.2mm x 2.3mm, the module is easy to integrate and it generates significant cost savings compared to existing hardware solutions.

The TC6000 has a very low power consumption of just 140mW, and it works with just 1.8 volts without any impairment of the performance. Data is transferred via a serial interface; the high-speed UART is capable of data rates up to 4 Mbps.

GNS additionally supplies free Windows CE drivers for GPS, TMC, BT and FM. Third-party suppliers support the BT functions with BT software and echo cancellation. Furthermore, the TC6000 features smart fix^TM technology which greatly reduces the TTFF time.
